BirdieBay started with a single passion – golf. The idea was conceived when co-founder, Keaton Lockhart, was living in South Korea and discovered GOLFZON. He returned to America and opened his first location in Tulsa, Oklahoma, equipped with five TwoVision GOLFZON simulators. A second location is opening soon in Dallas, Texas that will foster the same welcoming, sports bar environment.

What got you into indoor golf?
Just went to BirdieBay once and loved it.

Making the GOLFZON Tour team.

Never played in a tournament.

Winning my first college tournament.

I played for Southwestern College.

I’m completely self taught playing off of a +5.1 handicap.

Pretoria, South Africa but been living in Tulsa, Oklahoma since 1996.
How long have you been playing golf?
Been playing golf since the age of 7, so for 40 years!
Did you play other sports growing up?
Yes! Played everything that involved a ball. Rugby, tennis, cricket.
What got you into indoor golf?
BirdieBay in Tulsa was my introduction to indoor golf! Such a great spot for bad weather golf and to work on your game!
What is your greatest accomplishment in golf?
I played professionally for 13 years competing in 47 countries. My highlight was qualifying for the 2011 British Open at Royal St. George’s.
What is your lowest tournament round and what was the event?
62 Joburg Open on the DP World Tour and Red River College Classic.
Did you play college golf, if so where?
Yes, University of Tulsa.
Anything else the audience should know?
Grew up playing with major champions Trevor Immelman, Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel in South Africa.

Basketball.
What got you into indoor golf?
My dad put a simulator in his house and I have been pretty interested in them since then.
What is your greatest accomplishment in golf?
Probably winning State as a team in high school.
What is your lowest tournament round and what was the event?
67 I think. Was a junior tournament at Southlakes, not sure the name of the event.

No, I did not.

I am a big Kansas Jayhawks fan.

I love to play golf and found birdie bay was an option for year round golf. The enjoyment and speed of indoor golf is what keeps me playing.

My greatest accomplishment in golf is passing my PAT and becoming a golf instructor.

My lowest tournament round was a 68 in my PAT.
