Where are you from?
I am from Claremont, California born and raised. On the golf course, is where I spent most of my days.
How long have you been playing golf?
I have been around golf my whole life. I did start taking golf seriously until I was a sophomore in High School. Consistently, I have been playing for 9 years.
Did you play other sports growing up?
I pretty much played and loved them all. The one sport I really enjoyed and loved before golf was baseball. I was a pitcher my whole life up until high school.
What got you into indoor golf?
I was really intrigued by the 24/7 aspect that Golf Envy has to offer, being able to play full rounds of golf under an hour, and it’s always the perfect weather!
What is your greatest accomplishment in golf?
Double Eagle from 248 yards away at RedHill Country Club.
What is your lowest tournament round and what was the event?
It was actually a match play event. I ended up beating a staff member of the College I attended in a Ryder Cup Format that was Staff vs. Students. Best round of golf I have ever played. My lowest round by score in a tournament event is a -3 (69) at Menifee Lakes Golf Club.
Did you play college golf, if so where?
Yes, I attended the Professional Golfers Career College in Temecula, California. I graduated in 2017.

I have played golf since middle school, so around 8 years.
Did you play other sports growing up?
Growing up, I practiced Taekwondo in which I became a black belt before switching to golf.
What got you into indoor golf?
Indoor golf allows me to practice whenever I want, regardless of how bad the weather is. The coolest thing about simulator golf is being able to practice my yardages while having fun playing a quick 18 with my buddies.
What is your greatest accomplishment in golf?
My greatest accomplishment in golf was qualifying for an NCGA Amateur Championship event and getting to play Spyglass Hill.
What is your lowest tournament round and what was the event?
My lowest tournament round is a 64 in a collegiate tournament on the Champions Course at Morongo Golf Club.
Did you play college golf, if so where?
Yes, at the University of La Verne.
Anything else the audience should know?
There’s nothing I like more than intense competition and with GOLFZON, I can really feel the pressure and nerves kicking in when I know every shot counts.

I’ve been actively pursuing golf for 5 years now.
Did you play other sports growing up?
I played basketball growing up and also did bouldering in a nearby indoor climbing gym.
What got you into indoor golf?
Colin Boldig, Golf Envy opened up the street from my home and he helped sign me up when I got around to checking it out.
What is your greatest accomplishment in golf?
Hitting a 375 yd drive at Yucaipa Valley Golf Club on Hole 17
What is your lowest tournament round and what was the event?
68, just a regular round at my former home course in Spring Valley Lake
Did you play college golf, if so where?
Unfortunately no, I reached out in my first year at CSUSB right as COVID hit and didn’t hear back for a year and a half. When I did hear back, they said the roster had already been filled.
Anything else the audience should know?
I would not be here in this position if it were not for the love and support of my wife. She has stood by my side through it all and cannot be more grateful.
I am a private golf tutor on the side and love every second of it. My passion is to see my clients succeed and progress in their game.
My father was born and raised in South Korea. He migrated over at the age of three with my grandfather and grandmother. I take pride knowing that my roots come from South Korea and would like to one day travel there.
